Personal Information:
Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and shipping/billing addresses. For Vendors, we also collect business names, Taxpayer Identification Numbers (TPIN), and bank account details for payouts.
Account & Transaction Data:
Hashed passwords, preferences, order history, and payment amounts. We do not store full credit card numbers; all payments are securely handled by our PCI-compliant payment gateway.
Technical & Usage Data:
IP addresses, browser types, device information, and interactions with our platform features (pages visited, search queries, etc.) collected via cookies.
3. How Your Information Is Used
- To operate and improve the Platform and user experience.
- To process and fulfill orders, payments, and delivery services.
- To communicate essential updates, support responses, and security alerts.
- Legal & Tax Compliance: To report necessary transaction data to the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA).
- To prevent fraudulent activity and ensure Platform security.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data based on Contract Fulfillment (delivering your orders), Legal Obligations (tax and business reporting), and our Legitimate Interests in providing a secure and functional marketplace.

We share information only with trusted parties as necessary:
- With Vendors: We share Buyer names and shipping addresses to facilitate order fulfillment.
- With Service Providers: Flutterwave (Payments), Resend (Email), Cloudinary (Images), and Vercel (Hosting).
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information to the ZRA or law enforcement if required by Zambian law.
6. Data Retention
We retain account data while your account is active. In accordance with Zambian tax laws, transaction data is retained for a minimum of seven (7) years. Upon request, we can delete personal data, subject to these legal retention requirements.
